“We launched our first phase in March and the response has been incredible,” says sales and marketing manager Bryan Logel. “People are really excited, not just because of our super aggressive pricing – our two-bedrooms start at an amazing $140,000 and the majority are under $190,000 – but because we offer great designs, high quality building specifications, eye-catching exteriors, titled parking, and an appealing location in Copperfield.”
Copperfield Park consists of 240 suites being built in five phases in “boutique style buildings to create a sense of community,” Logel says, noting the five, four-storey buildings ensure a “less industrialized feel, which buyers are looking for.
“They also want homes that look attractive, so we’ve created exteriors that have curb appeal with attractive colour schemes, brick and detailing,” he says, adding that Copperfield Park will be beautifully landscaped to blend into the community and adjacent park area.
Buyers can see themselves living in Copperfield Park with several floor plans ranging from 600 to 970 sq. ft. in one- and two-bedrooms layouts. “These suites are very well thought out with stylish open concept designs that make efficient use of space and include oversized windows to let in plenty of natural light.”
Logel says they’ve designed spaces that people want such as full-sized kitchens with expansive counter space, slab or shaker-style cabinets that come in three different colour choices, optional moveable island, an optional pantry, and four appliances – fridge, stove, dishwasher and over-therange microwave with hood fan. Larger suites have spacious eating areas that will not only accommodate a regular dining room table, but with room enough to extend the leaves when entertaining friends and family.
“We wanted to make sure the kitchen/dining areas were large so owners would feel comfortable having people over,” Logel says. “We also designed the bedrooms so they could have room for a queen-sized or even a king-sized bed, and most of the two-bedrooms are separated by the main living area, so two people sharing could have their own sense of privacy.”
There is also in-suite laundry with the washer and dryer included, good sized balconies for outdoor entertaining, most suites come with underground heated and secured parking and all come with storage units. As well, buyers can choose from some optional upgrades such as a fireplace, granite counters, air conditioning and hardwood flooring. Logel says main-floor suites will have key entries “so owners can enter from the courtyard and because of the fencing and landscaping owners will feel like they have their own little yard.”
Brad Remington Homes is also crafting Copperfield Park with high-standard sound attenuation, low-E doubled glazed windows, maintenance-free exterior, 30-year shingles, and is integrating rain screen building techniques – an exterior envelope that eliminates the leaky condo syndrome.
Copperfield Park is situated on a two-hectare site just off McIvor Blvd. across from tot lots, parks, walking trails and green space. It’s near the BRT bus stops, grocery stores, restaurants and other shops and services.
Along with the apartment style condos, Copperfield Park will have three-bedroom townhomes ranging from 1,240 to 1,353 sq. ft. priced from the $240,000s to $269,000. Logel expects with the incredible pricing, design and location that Copperfield Park will attract many first-time buyers and young families looking to get out of renting, and empty-nesters or downsizers looking to enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle.
